Welcome to the final day of the revamped Amazon Prime Day deals event, aka Early Access Sale. Many of yesterday's deals are still going strong, and better yet, there are some fresh additions too. Day 2 is typically when we start to see some of the best discounts sell out though, so we wouldn't hang around too long if something has caught your eye. And don't forget, the items that are officially a part of the Prime sale will go back up in price at midnight PST tonight.
So far, we've seen some historic price drops on Chromebooks, smart TVs, and tablets galore, not to mention loads of great deals on Amazon devices like the Kindle Paperwhite and the newest Echo Dot. As with the original 2-day Prime sale, Amazon's main competitors are out here with some so-called "anti-Prime Day" sales that rival or even exceed the Big A's finest attempts. We'll let you know about the best ones of course.
Amazon sale: Prime Early Access deals live roundup
Keep reading for our selections, plus we'll drop some category highlights below. We'll continue updating this page until the sale wraps up tonight, and possibly even beyond that time if we keep finding great deals as we did after this summer's event. Not a Prime member right now? Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 44mm: $279.99 $169.99 at Amazon
Now that everyone has their eye on the new Galaxy Watch 5, its still-great predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, is seeing more discounts than ever before. Case in point: Amazon is currently slashing $110 off the price of the watch, bringing it down to just $169.99 if you place the order before tomorrow night at midnight PST. Another nice thing about this deal is that, unlike most Prime Day offers, you don't need to be a Prime member to receive the savings — so act fast!
Samsung Odyssey G5 Gaming Monitor: $369.99 $289.99 at Amazon
Gamers, rejoice! Thanks to the Prime Early Access Sale, you can currently pick up the Odyssey G5 gaming monitor for just $289.99, a pretty respectable 22% drop from its usual $370 price tag. The Odyssey G5 boasts truly stunning WQHD resolution, making your graphics more lifelike than ever before. It also has a butter-smooth 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time for precise visuals, plus AMD FreeSync Premium technology that makes lag a thing of the past.
Amazon Echo Buds (2nd Gen): $119.99 $69.99 at Amazon
With active noise cancellation, three built-in microphones, and up to 15 hours of battery life (with the charging case), Echo Buds are a pretty solid choice if you're looking for some new wireless earbuds — particularly when you pair these cutting-edge features with a $50 discount! Believe it or not, this actually isn't the cheapest that the Echo Buds have ever been (that particular honor belongs to a $70 price drop that happened last April) but it's unlikely that we'll see the price this low again, at least until the holiday season arrives.
Google Pixel 6 128GB: $599 $399 at Amazon
It's not only Chromebooks and smartwatches that are seeing serious price cuts during the Prime Early Access Sale. Amazon is also slashing a very nice $200 off the price of the Google Pixel 6, a phone that we would proudly list as one of the best Android phones ever made (which, by the way, we did). Not only is this a record low Amazon price, but, unlike most other Google Pixel 6 deals, this offer requires no action on your part, such as trading in an old device or adding a line to your wireless service.
Garmin Forerunner 735XT: $349.99 $129.99 at Amazon
Now that's more like it. Amazon is slashing a jaw-dropping 63% off the price of the Garmin Forerunner 735XT, a smartwatch that comes complete with onboard GPS, up to 11 days of battery life, and loads of intelligent fitness/health tracking features. This is by far the cheapest that the watch has ever been, plus you're getting a wearable that we consider one of the best options if you just want something simple for fitness tracking. Sure, it might lack a few features that we've come to expect in a smartwatch — such as music storage — but at this price, we're not complaining.
HP Chromebook 11a: $259.99 $139.99 at Amazon
This stylish "Indigo Blue" Chromebook is currently seeing a 46% price drop at Amazon, a discount that brings the laptop down to a mere $139.99. That's pretty darn impressive when you look at the specs: over 15 hours of battery life, an 11-inch HD touchscreen display, and a powerful MediaTek MT8183 processor for reliable performance. Plus I'm obsessed with the blue color and the fact that it only weighs 2.3 pounds! All of this in a laptop that's less than $150? Sign me up.
Google Pixel 6a: $449 $349 at Amazon
The Pixel 6a was already very, very affordable at $449, but this Amazon deal sees $100 knocked off for the lowest price we've ever seen. Even with those free gift cards mentioned elsewhere on this page for the new Pixel 7, it's still quite a pricey phone. So if you're after something more budget-friendly, but still with a good few years of software and security updates ahead, then the 6a is a great call.
